SHONSIN Battery cable is a low-voltage solution for automotive, agricultural and construction electrical connection applications. Custom battery cables should be sized to properly handle the expected load. Undersized cables can lead to an unacceptable voltage drop and/or increased cable temperature. Ampacity also referred to as Ampere Capacity. It is the maximum current, in amperes, that a conductor can carry continuously under the conditions of use without exceeding its temperature rating. Any loose connections will render the system unusable because this will result in high resistance and voltage drop that may cause a no-start situation, caused by the battery cable. it is for this reason that battery cables must be very tight. The copper in the battery cable ages and loses its conductive properties. Exposure of the battery cable will cause it to oxidize. This is mainly caused by incisions to the rubber jacket of the battery cable. The ends and terminals of the battery cable will corrode. With a simple battery cable check and cleaning, tightening or replacement, problems like hard starting or no starting occurrences can be resolved. We utilize Super Flexible Silicone Wire 0.08mm Tinned Copper conductor. 200℃ rated temperature. 6AWG ~16AWG super flexible silicone wire is in stock. 1/0AWG ~ 4AWG can be customized, in accordance with the OEM’s specifications.


The UL listed battery cables made by experts at the facility of SHONSIN Cable are fabricated with stranded tinned copper and is insulated with a proprietary pliable. The battery cable wire still offers a durable installation that maintains key physical and electrical resistance properties.
