Three Types of Fluoroplastic Wires in High Temperature Wires

There are three common classifications of fluoroplastic wires and cables in high-temperature wires, namely single-core cables, silicone coaxial cables, and multi-core cables.


1. Single-core fluoroplastic high-temperature wire: its structure is that the inner conductor is a single or multiple copper wire (tinned copper wire). And the stranded outer diameter of the conductor is 0.4mm-2.0mm with fluoroplastic insulation. The thickness of the insulating layer is between 0.3mm-0.5mm, and it is often used as aeronautical wires, wiring of electronic and electrical equipment, and lighting wires for special occasions.


2. Silicone coaxial cable: The conductor is single or multiple strands of tin-plated copper or bare copper. And the stranded diameter is 1.25mm~1.6mm. There are three main insulation materials: fluoroplastic insulation, fluoroplastic foam insulation, fluoroplastic and poly Vinyl composite insulation with a thickness of 0.04mm-3.0mm. Silicone coaxial cables are often used as connecting wires for radio frequency cables and electronic equipment.


3. When multi-core cables twist single-core wires or coaxial cables together, there are twisted and non-twisted, which are used for industrial computer control and automation instrument control respectively. This kind of fluorine plastic cable is also used in special occasions of Category 5 and super Category 5 cables, data transmission, audio and video transmission, etc.
